Applied Anatomy BA (Hons)
Overview
Anatomy explores the structure of living things, from the microscopic level of cells and tissues to the macroscopic level of the entire organism. But this Applied Anatomy BSc (Hons) programme takes this knowledge a step further, focusing on how structure relates to function.
This practical course offers a hands-on approach, allowing you to develop a clear, 3D mental image of human and animal anatomy.
This course teaches the basics of comparing animal anatomy. It shows how the structure of major body systems in mammals relates to their function.
This course also covers detailed anatomy used in medicine and veterinary science. It shows how these subjects are related to real-world practices. A key part of the course is dissection, which helps you specialise in either medical or veterinary anatomy.
