Entry requirements
This project is best suited for a final-year undergraduate or MSc student in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of computer networks, edge computing concepts, and fundamental cybersecurity principles. Experience with programming (e.g. Python, Java, or C++) and familiarity with simulation tools such as NS-3, SUMO, or OMNET++ would be beneficial. A basic understanding of privacy-preserving techniques and decentralised architectures is desirable. The student should be comfortable working independently on a technically challenging project that involves both research and system prototyping.
