Overview
Students will critically examine the pathophysiology and clinical presentation of acute medical conditions across key specialities including respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, gastrointestinal and endocrine care Emphasis is placed on evidence-based assessment, clinical decision-making and the timely recognition and management of clinical deterioration. The module supports the development of advanced professional judgement in prioritising and coordinating care for patients with complex and dynamic needs.
