Entry requirements
Depending on your funding, the pathway you apply for will be either MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (funded through NHSE or your employer) or MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship (funded EXCLUSIVELY by the Apprenticeship levy). If you are uncertain, you need to confirm the correct funding route with your employer or ACP Lead in your organisation before you submit your application. A minimum of 8 weeks is required to process your application for the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship to complete relevant contract and initial assessments. If you are unable to meet the relevant apprenticeship requirements before the programme start date, your application will be deferred to the following intake. We have two intakes per year: September and January. To apply for the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship programmes you must have a current UK health professional registration with a regulatory body (e.g. Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professional s Council (HCPC)).
