This Postgraduate Certificate equips nurses with the advanced clinical knowledge and confidence required to deliver safe, person-centred peri-anaesthetic care. It introduces and develops understanding of the physiological, psychological and pharmacological principles that underpin anaesthetic nursing across adult, paediatric and obstetric settings. Through scenario-based and simulation learning, students strengthen their clinical reasoning, emergency response and leadership within multidisciplinary teams.
