Overview
Our BSc (Hons) Live Sound, Lighting and Performance degree is one of five exciting courses in the Undergraduate Music Programme. A varied course where you will cover the fundamentals of sound principles such as acoustics and capture, sound reinforcement, music studio design, signal-theory, processing, sound synthesis, audio electronics, networked audio, multichannel audio and storage. Once the basics are established, you will focus on venue-based audio systems - from concert halls to festivals and everything in-between. In addition to handling and designing audio systems, you will also learn about video, lighting, augmentation, and virtual reality through the lens of broadcast and live events.
