Overview
Understanding the law is essential for nurses working with children to ensure child safety, fulfil mandatory safeguarding responsibilities and upholding child centred approaches to legal rights regarding consent, confidentiality and care. It is essential that nurses working with children and families act as advocates and legally navigate complex situations like abuse and neglect in the child’s best interests. Please note that courses are subject to a minimum registration, so it may not be possible to run all courses each year. Tuition fees and other charges are set by the University and are subject to change. See details on how to pay your fees here.
