Overview

Use psychological theory to explore why people commit crimes Study Forensic Psychology to understand and untangle the elements that contribute to criminal behaviour. Our teaching team blend practitioners and academics, to nurture employability skills for your future career in the criminal justice system. During your Forensic Psychology BSc course, you will develop practical skills. You will work with risk assessments, research possible treatment plans, engage with the parole process and observe criminal trials. You can also gain valuable experience through work-based practice and observation. Or you may choose to study in a partner university abroad for a year to gain an international perspective on your studies and experience a different culture.
