Overview
On this course you will learn the key skills of the historian, such as critical reading, referencing, and writing academically. You will tailor your own experience by applying these skills to a historical subject of your choosing, exploring the topic through research, presentations, and written work. This is a 12-week course taking place on Mondays 7-9pm. The course starts 26 January 2026. You will be able to attend online or in person on the UEA Campus. The application deadline is 16 January 2026. The UEA History Short Course is a programme for any applicant who qualifies for home fees status and is resident in the UK. It will harness your passion for the past and channel it towards academic study. Successful completion of the course will enable you to progress on to the School of History’s BA in History (or MA where relevant).
