The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is comprised of two schools: Norwich Medical School and the School of Health Sciences. For our research, we combine expertise from both schools and across the wider university to provide ground-breaking research opportunities and innovation. The research portfolio for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is divided into three interlinked research areas: Metabolic Health encompasses research in cardiovascular, cancer, musculoskeletal, gastroenterology and microbiology. Lifespan Heath includes Health and Care Innovation (behavioural change, later life, rehabilitation, sleep, neurodegeneration), Mental Health, Nutrition, and the Norwich Institute for Health Ageing
