Overview
The Doctorate in Medicine has been designed to enable clinicians working in practice who wish to undertake a substantial programme of individual research, while under the principal supervision of a clinical specialist. You'll benefit from a flexible programme and the opportunity for you to contribute to the final award using previous research. The duration of the course is up to four years on a part-time basis. During your studies, you'll have the opportunity to study a wide range of subject areas relevant to your own clinical practice and these may be clinically based. Entry requirements
MBBS degrees (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) or equivalent, and eligibility for full registration or holding limited registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), or equivalent dental qualifications and registration; plus normally three years relevant professional experience.
