Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria: Must have an offer to study on a full time undergraduate taught programme starting in September 2026 of the 2026/27 academic year. Anyone can apply for an award as long as they have met the academic requirements for a course and subsequently been given a conditional or unconditional place at Brunel University London. As main criteria, all applicants must be able to demonstrate sporting achievement at junior international level or equivalent in one of the priority sports listed below and/or evidence a top 10 age ranking within their chosen sport. Please note, that competition for scholarships can be very high, and you must be able to show evidence of your sporting achievements and supporting information from your National Governing Body Performance Director/National Coach. Meeting these criteria is not a guarantee for a Scholarship award. What we include within the scholarship award 2026/27: Cash award up to £3000 per academic year* Support Package benefits/products worth over £500 Athlete-friendly accommodation on campus next to sports facilities** Sport Psychology support Free use of world-class sports facilities including Indoor Athletics Centre and Strength & Conditioning area Free weekly physio sessions Sport scholarship kit Cash awards vary annually depending upon sport, funding and support. Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria: Must have an offer to study on a full time postgraduate taught or MRes programme starting in September 2026 or January 2027 of the 2026/27 academic year. Applicants must have a minimum 2:1 and above or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification. Must be classed as an Overseas fee paying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored). This includes applicants from the EU who are required to pay overseas fees. Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government. For information on these regulations please visit the independent organisation UKCISA’s website. All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel. Applicants must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit by the advisory deadline to secure their fee reduction. A tuition fee waiver of 25% will be applied to each year of study for a maximum of three years.

The scholarship aims to reward exceptional students with excellent academic records and a passion for creating positive change in their communities. Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria: Must have an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate programme starting in September 2026 of the 2026/27 academic year. Applicants must achieve a minimum of 3 A Levels with grades ABB and above or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification. Must be classed as an Overseas fee paying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored). This includes applicants from the EU who are required to pay overseas fees. Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government. For information on these regulations please visit the independent organisation UKCISA’s website. All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel. Applicants must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit by 30th August to secure the fee reduction. Applicants applying for the Graduate LLB Law Programme will be considered for the Bursary and must achieve a minimum of 2:1 or higher in an Undergraduate degree. 2.2 Those not eligible for this award Applicants NOT classed as Overseas for fee purposes, based on the UK government regulations or those with an unresolved fee status. Applicants who are not fully self-funded and are being sponsored by a Government or external body. Applicants entering a courses at Brunel Medical School, namely the MBBS programme. Applicants who will NOT commence their course in September 2026 (2026/27 academic year), this includes deferred entry month and year.
