Accelerated Nursing (Adult)
Overview
An Accelerated Nursing (Adult) degree is a fast-tracked degree programme for those who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field and wish to pursue nursing. This programme will provide the required sound knowledge and clinical skills to become a registered nurse. Accelerated programmes indicate a rush schedule, coursework, and hands-on learning. Modules will be delivered based on 50% clinical practice and 50% theory. In the UK, you have to sit for the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration to gain your nursing licence.

Student Testimony
“I wanted to remain in the field of HEAL (health, education, administration, and literacy),” he said. “I routinely performed personal care for students as a teacher—everything from feeding to medication administration. It was those experiences caring for students with disabilities that made me want to pursue a career in nursing.” [Adam Reilly-Dreas from Duke University School of Nursing]
