Overview
*The next anticipated intake is October 2026, and the application window will open shortly.* The University of Northampton Dementia Research & Innovation Centre (NDRIC) is currently offering a University (Masters Level 7) module on person-centred and family focused approaches to dementia care. Advanced Dementia Care is for leaders and managers in health and social care who are providing and delivering care to people living with dementia (PWD) and carers. Adopting a person-centred family focused approach, this online module explores the contemporary evidence-base, recent policy developments, and innovations in dementia care practice.
Entry requirements
Students will need to provide evidence of study at level 6 (or equivalent) or tier 2/3 in the ‘Dementia Training Standards Framework, Skills for Health, Health Education England and Skills for Care (2018). Students will also need regular access to dementia patients and carers.
