Overview

This module teaches how to deliver efficient and effective case management of patients with a range of minor presentations, developing confidence and expertise.

Entry requirements

This module is for clinicians who encounter patients presenting with undifferentiated minor presentations that may or may not be indicative of a minor illness. Six taught days (comprising a mixture of face-to-face and online sessions), plus a 75-hour placement to be organised by the learner. You will increase your ability to safely manage patients with minor presentations. This module encompasses an holistic approach to these patients enabling you to move beyond the presentation to see the bigger picture and develop effective principles for managing such presentations. This short course module is designed to be flexible in allowing you to study and reach your goals at your own pace. Our health CPD courses are credit-bearing modules that may contribute to a University degree or award. As a health care professional, once you've completed this course you could offset 15 credits as part of a postgraduate programme, continuing your study with further modules to make up a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) 60 credits.
