Overview
The labour ward coordinator role is complex and challenging, and requires effective clinical leadership to provide safe and effective care. This short professional development course responds to the Ockenden and Kirkup reports (2022) and the labour ward coordinator education and development framework (NHS England, 2023). Teaching will involve members of the multidisciplinary (MDT) team to provide different perspectives.
