This course is aimed at AHP support workers who are looking to develop and progress in their current role. The course aligns with the AHP Support Worker Competency, Education and Career Development Framework, NHS England, and will support AHP Support Workers to meet the standards set by the framework enabling a fulfilling career pathway. In addition to individual career development, the upskilling of AHP Support Workers will hugely benefit registered professionals, employers and commissioners in providing higher standards of care for the UK population as it offers flexibility in meeting the needs of patients, clearer role definition and the ability to be able to delegate tasks in line with HCPC guidance and standards. This flexible course can be accessed as a 5 day package or as stand alone days, allowing AHP Support workers to achieve a level of ‘Assistant Practitioner’ in one or more of the five competencies that make up the AHP Support Worker framework.
