Overview
These two days have been developed for staff who has started in primary care and who are required to give care to women in relation to pill checks and depo injections.
Entry requirements
This two-day course is for any registered health care staff that are required to give contraception advice/care and who have not had any formal training or require a refresher in all contraception methods. Learn Nursing This course runs over two full days. The key takeaway from this course is the ability to carry out pill checks and give contraception injections safely as well as have information to support women in their contraception choice. This module is worth 12 hours of CPD.
