Year 2 - Advanced Entry:

Advanced Highers at BB including Biology or Chemistry plus 4 Highers at ABBB to include Biology, Human Biology or Chemistry. Applicants should be able to offer National 5 (A-C) or equivalent (for literacy) and in Maths (for numeracy).

3 A-Levels AAB, including Biology or Chemistry, with GCSE passes in Maths and English.

Year 3 - Advanced Entry:

Applicants undertaking a relevant HND qualification may be considered for entry to Year 3.

Comparable Qualifications:

3 A-Levels BBB, including Biology or Chemistry. Applicants should be able to offer GCSE's (9-4) in Maths and English.

JCPA plus 4 Irish Leaving Certificate subjects at Higher Level at H2, H2, H2, H2, including Biology or Chemistry.

English language qualifications:

IELTS: score of 6.0 with a no subtests under 5.5.

Pearsons (PTE Academic): 56 overall (no band less than 51)

Linguaskill: 170 overall (no band less than 165)

ToEFL (ibt, mybest, or athome): 80 overall R:18, W:17, S:20, L:17

Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) - C2; Advanced (CAE) - C1 ; First (FCE) - B2: 169 overall (no band less than 162)

Skills for English (UKVI) SELT for students: B2 in all skills

GCSE A or AS Level: English with grade E

GCE O Level Syllabus 1123 (All other countries): Grade C or above

Cambridge IGCSE in English (as a first language): Grade C in all components

IELTS: score of 6.0 with a no subtests under 5.5.
