Overview

You’ll learn how to manage an organisation’s involvement in global and international supply chains. You’ll study specialist modules on procurement and supply management, global logistics and international trade, and supply chain sustainability and the environment. This focus on driving sustainable growth through viable logistics is one of the key themes of our Logistics Institute, which has helped hundreds of businesses since it was established in 2008 and helped to train hundreds of logistics graduates who've gone on to effect change on a global level. Through the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, we’ve partnered with NOVUS – a not-for-profit collaboration between leading blue-chip companies and prominent universities dedicated to developing the next generation of logistics professionals. This partnership gives you access to exclusive paid placement opportunities, with students gaining hands-on experience at major international organisations such as Yusen Logistics, Arla and Air Logistics. Our students have also secured placements with companies including GlaxoSmithKline, J Marr (Seafoods) Limited and Provogue Consulting Ltd. While the course has a strong focus on logistics and supply chain management, you’ll also develop a broader understanding of how businesses operate as a whole. Through live projects, case studies and industry collaborations, you’ll see how theory translates into practice – graduating with the commercial awareness, practical skills and professional confidence employers are looking for.
