At UEA, we believe everyone should have the chance to study at degree level. You might not yet have the required grades. You may need a little extra support. You may need time to decide where your interests lie. If so, then our BA English Literature with Creative Writing with a Foundation Year is the perfect choice. Our foundation year is an intensive and exciting year of study. You’ll focus on the topics which interest you. And you'll also create a toolkit of essential academic skills. We’ll support you to work towards your own learning goals in an encouraging, rewarding environment. You'll study with dedicated lecturers from UEA’s Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities. In addition to English Literature and Creative Writing, you’ll explore a wide range of adjacent academic subjects, including Drama, History, Philosophy, Film, Media, History of Art and Politics. We’ll help you make connections between different disciplines to spark your curiosity.
