Overview

The BSc (Hons) Audiology apprenticeship prepares you for a career as a healthcare science practitioner in NHS audiology. You’ll study the science behind hearing and balance while developing practical skills in assessing, managing, and supporting patients with hearing and related disorders. Teaching is delivered mainly online, with one week of on-campus study each semester at our City Campus. The course is accredited by the National School of Healthcare Science and follows the Practitioner Training Programme curriculum. Taught by experienced NHS scientists and researchers, the apprenticeship equips you with the knowledge and clinical experience needed to succeed in practice. On completion, you’ll be eligible for professional registration with the Academy of Healthcare Science and ready for employment as a healthcare science practitioner in audiology.
