Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing, influencing how we think, feel, and act. It determines how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life - from childhood, adolescence and into adulthood. Approximately one in four of the population will be affected by poor mental health. By pursuing a mental health nursing degree, you are taking a step towards making a positive impact on others’ lives.
