Overview

Our BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science degree is a multi-disciplinary programme which combines theoretical knowledge with the practical application of scientific principles. Whilst studying on this course, you will exploire a wide range of topics relating to sport and exercise science across key discipline areas of physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, psychology, strength and conditioning, and nutrition. Through these discipline areas, the programme aims to develop knowledge, understanding, and practical skills to impact sporting performance and participation, promote exercise and physical activity, and to improve health and wellbeing. To recognise the knowledge, skills and professional development that are required for success in the industry, this programme is endorsed by the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES), the UK's professional body for sport and exercise sciences. Our programme team also includes a number of CASES accredited researchers and applied practitioners, which supports the strong applied nature of our teaching, learning and assessment and affords students the opportunity to work with, and alongside, experienced academics and practitioners.
