Known as the central science, chemistry provides a fundamental understanding of how the world works at a chemical level. Since the 1840s, Huddersfield has provided a strong chemistry education to its students, supporting the local textile and dyeing industries as a result. Today, you’re not limited just to these industries. At Huddersfield, you’ll be joining a chemistry department with a long and illustrious history. Accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry, this course will prepare you with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of chemistry, with a focus on the following core areas of chemistry; organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry and physical chemistry.
