Overview
The module seeks to develop your knowledge and skills about CAMH and assessment of risk and resilience factors that can occur across the life course within a transgenerational context.
Entry requirements
The module is suitable for those working in CAMHS and Adult Mental Health Services, who wish to know more about how adverse early years experiences influence adult mental health. It is also suitable for people working in Education (Teachers, SENCOs, Schools (SN), Primary Care (ACP, HV) and Public Health Services (SCPHN) Social Work and allied professions. There are 5 days of face to face teaching on: Jan: 15 and 29 January 2026 Feb: 12 February 2026 March: 5, 6 and 19 March 2026 The assignment is in two parts: Oral presentation: 15, 16 and 17April 2026. Student will attend one of the dates. Written Essay: 14 May 2026 The module is worth 15 credits at level 7 and can be taken as a stand-alone module or part of a PG Diploma or an elective module as part of an existing MSc qualification at City, London University
