Overview

The aim of this module is to support practitioners to advance their knowledge and understanding of clinical decision making. This module provides practitioners with opportunities to critically analyse and appraise clinical decision-making theory and frameworks. Through critical reflection and self-assessment within the module, practitioners will be able to develop their skills in decision-making, evaluate their own decision making, and provide a critical analysis of rapidly changing situations. Practitioners will use reflective processes, such as clinical supervision, to review and analyse clinical judgements. This module promotes the philosophy of caring for patients as unique individuals. We aim for students undertaking this module to develop a deeper understanding of clinical situations. 24/04/26, 08/05/26, 22/05/26, 05/06/26, 19/06/26, 03/07/26 27/04/26, 11/05/26, 25/05/26 Changed to 01/06/202, 08/06/26, 22/06/26, 06/07/26 all 12-1pm
