Overview
This course updates participants knowledge of cytology and cervical screening, as required by the NHS cervical screening program (NHSCSP).
Entry requirements
This is a requirement set by the NHSCSP. All staff who are taking cervical samples must complete a cervical update every 3 years. Learn Nursing This course runs over either a half day or one full day. You will receive a certificate of attendance that can be used as part of your: CPD requirement (35 hours of Continuing professional development in the past 3 years) NMC registration (and from the end of 2015 it can be used for revalidation) NHS Cervical Screening Programme for sample-taker's 3-yearly update requirement.
