Overview
On our BA Economics degree, you'll be applying economics to important societal issues such as climate change, poverty and inequality. You'll learn how policy makers can use economics to design solutions and evaluate their effectiveness. This course is designed to strengthen your quantitative skills, but it has a strong focus on qualitative analysis and real-world applications. Using the main conceptual and analytical tools used by economists, you'll learn how to interpret and visualize data. You'll also learn how to convey complex economic ideas to non-specialists by developing your communication skills. To study this degree you do not need to have an A-level in mathematics, and you do not need to have studied economics before.
