Overview
This level 7 blended learning course provides an overview of important definitions and concepts, as well as an introduction to the changing panorama of public health problems.
Entry requirements
This course provides the perfect grounding for those looking to develop their career in public health. Lectures and seminars are delivered via blended learning mode (online and in-person synchronous). There is room for flexibility as you can opt for the online or in-person mode of delivery. The course runs from 30 th October to 12 th December 2026. Lectures and seminars are delivered online and in-person synchronously every Wednesday (2 pm to 5 pm). Recording of all sessions will be made available to all students via Moodle (City St George's University of London's virtual learning environment). This is a level 7 module worth 15 credits and can be taken as part of a PGCert/PGDip/Master of Public Health programme.
