Course Content GCSE French explores three key themes: People & Lifestyle, Popular Culture, and Communication & the World Around Us. Through these themes, students will engage with a diverse range of topics, from personal and daily life to travel, celebrity culture, media, and technology. The curriculum also delves into contemporary issues, including advancements in media technology, global challenges, and environmental concerns, providing a well-rounded understanding of the modern world. GCSE French is divided into two tiers: Foundation Tier (grades 1-5) and Higher Tier (grades 4-9). Students are required to take all four-question papers within the same tier, and all exams must be completed in the same assessment series. Entry requirements
Our GCSE and IGCSE courses are taught over one academic year, so applicants should have either completed Year 9* or 10 in a UK school (or overseas equivalent) with satisfactory school reference and reports in terms of academic achievement, attendance, punctuality and good conduct.
