Overview

Our module in Infection Prevention Control in Clinical Practice will allow you to sharpen your skills and knowledge of basic microbiology, common microorganisms, and their pathogenesis, to allow you to understand the legislation, procedures and principles of controlling standard infections in the future. Content will be delivered over 10 weeks through 200 hours of online lectures/activities, tutorials and independent study. You will examine the evidence-based guidance that informs best practice. On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: Individual Modules Infection Prevention and Control

Entry requirements

Healthcare Practitioners working as either specialist practitioners or as a link worker role within the field of Infection prevention and control.

English language requirements

IELTS6.0 overall, no part below 5.5

Most courses require IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or an equivalent approved English language qualification. Some courses have higher entry criteria, so check the course-specific entry requirements.
