Overview
This course gives students a grounding in the whole energy lifecycle – from generation and conversion through to storage and transmission. It can lead to a wide range of career opportunities, including becoming a project engineer or design engineer in the renewable energy sector and beyond.

What do I need? UCAS 104-112 UCAS points A Levels BCC BTEC DMM Work out your estimated grades using the UCAS calculator Other UK qualifications Access to HE Diploma – Pass Access with a minimum of 80 UCAS tariff points. Applicants to Staffs who are taking the Access to HE Diploma receive a reduced tariff point offer as part of our access and participation plan activity OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma – grade DMM Alternatively, if an applicant has significant appropriate experience, their application will be considered, provided that they satisfy the University that they are capable of responding to the challenge of undergraduate work. If an applicant’s first language is not English a minimum score of IELTS Academic with overall 6.0 and no less than 5.5 in each band will apply. We welcome applications from students studying a range of international and UK qualifications, including Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers and the Irish Leaving Certificate. Offers will normally be made in line with our standard entry requirements and may include specific grade requirements in relevant subjects.
