Overview
The population of children, adults and older people with intellectual disabilities is changing and growing with more living into older age with a range of complex care and support needs. This course will prepare those working in health, social care and independent sector settings to enhance their knowledge and skills in providing best practice care to people with intellectual disabilities. A postgraduate certificate normally comprises 3 modules, which you can complete in one year as a part time course of study. On successful completion you will be awarded 60 CATs points at Level 7.
