Overview
This focused half-day course offers a clear and practical update on the key accounting, disclosure and tax considerations relevant to Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs). Aimed at anyone involved in preparing, auditing or reviewing LLP accounts, the session covers the legal structure of LLPs, the roles of members and designated members, and the key differences between LLPs and limited companies. Delegates will gain practical insight into profit allocation, the distinction between debt and equity, and the disclosure of members’ interests, while also exploring the implications of FRS 102 and the updated LLP SORP. The course also examines LLPs within group structures, recent changes in tax treatment and the most common accounting issues encountered in practice. Participants will leave with greater confidence in navigating the unique reporting requirements of LLPs, supported by expert guidance and shared professional experience.
