If you're a qualified counselling practitioner looking to deepen your expertise and develop your practice, this course is designed for you. The MA Advancing Counselling Practice degree helps you build on your existing skills by applying contemporary research and theory to your core counselling model, while also exploring alternative approaches. You can tailor your studies by choosing a specialist route, leading to an exit award in either MA Advancing Counselling Practice (Adult) or MA Advancing Counselling Practice (Children and Young People). Your learning will take place within the context of today’s evolving mental health landscape.
