Overview
This Project, in collaboration with FNTLABS LLC, will deal with available public and unpublished data sets creating meta-analysis, new hypothesis and models using Machine Learning (ML) or Artificial Intelligence (AI). In the wider context the data might be from aged tissues, damaged and diseased tissue, and organs. Tissue stored in tissue banks needs analysing to generate new storage protocols specifically geared towards human tissue storage. The Project will generate new models to study mechanisms of aging, freezing, and cell protection. It will potentially generate new biomarkers to be used in the context of aging, neurodegeneration, and tissue damage. 94% of Loughborough’s research impact is rated world-leading or internationally excellent.
