Overview
Quantity surveying is a fast growing, high impact career at the heart of construction. Developed with our industry partners, this course combines academic learning with hands on projects to equip you with the skills to manage costs and contracts, making commercial decisions, from concept to completion. You focus on financial control, sustainability and ethical practice while gaining experience with industry standard digital tools such as BIM and CAD so you are ready to hit the ground running in your graduate career. We are in the process of gaining accreditation by the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), an internationally recognised professional body. The course is also aligned with the professional standards set by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). It provides a strong foundation for professional accreditation and supports students’ progression towards chartered surveyor status. This course has been developed in collaboration with our industry and community partners and reflects the most cutting-edge industry practice. You benefit from our partners’ on-going involvement with the course through live briefs, guest lectures and site visits.
