Overview
Minor injury assessment and management skills are needed more and more by nurses and allied-health professionals in a variety of areas including general practice, urgent care, emergency departments and pre-hospital care. This course provides an opportunity for you to develop knowledge and skills in relation to assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated and undiagnosed minor injuries, as well as generate differential diagnoses in addition to making informed collaborative decisions about the management of a patient’s presentation. This course is designed to help you take on the role of assessment and management of minor injuries within your own clinical setting.
