Overview
Coming to medical school marks the first step in a lifelong journey of discovery and fulfilment. You’ll be able to make a real difference to the lives of the patients you meet. You’ll also have the opportunity to broaden and deepen your understanding of the subject throughout the length of your career. The MB BS Medicine degree at Norwich Medical School is different. We encourage you to learn the theory, and its real-world application, hand in hand from day one. We also put patients at the heart of learning, with placements that start from the first week of the course. This highly integrated approach is supported by a diverse range of tutors and the very best of teaching methods. During your five years on the MB BS Medicine course, you'll learn sciences needed to understand the human body and human behaviour. You'll encounter the legal and ethical principles at the heart of medicine, and develop the personal skills needed to manage a challenging career. You'll also learn how to consult with and examine patients, and the problem-solving skills needed to be an effective doctor.
