Overview
Mechatronic Engineering is a multidisciplinary field combining electronic, mechanical, computer and control engineering.
Entry requirements
| A levels | BBC · Subjects: To include Grade B in one from Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Technology & Design, Design & Technology, Engineering, Electronics or Double Award Science/Applied Science. *Desirable Subject Offer - GCE A Level Maths, Further Maths or Physics. Applicants presenting any of the above Desirable Subjects will receive a ONE grade reduction at the time of offer i.e. BCC. The Desirable Subject can be achieved at grade C or B You will normally be in full-time employment in an engineering capacity regarded as satisfying the industrial training requirements of the equivalent full-time programme. You will be required to satisfy the Course Committee that you have the support of your employer for release to attend the courses. Although consideration can be given to previous experiential learning, the entry criteria for the part-time programme is in line with the equivalent full-time Mechatronic Engineering course |
