Student Life

Ulster University’s Students’ Union (UUSU) is a mouthpiece for students. It influences the lifestyle of students and builds up a supportive community that helps raise student’s voices.

All kinds of social events, counselling, entertainment, trips, and activities are organised by UUSU. Therefore, the campus has a sports union composed of 65 sports clubs where students can enjoy activities ranging from archery to volleyball, etc.

It’s a big gathering of overseas students where they get an opportunity to introduce themselves to new people, have fun, and gain valuable experience.

Moreover, the institute organises debate clubs, athletics, comic books, and surfing—everything students need—all in one place. The UUSU Volunteering Centre provides support to the local community or the Students’ Union. Living in Northern Ireland is peaceful and safe.

Museums represent a place for safe reflection, like the Tower Museum in Derry or Londonderry. Therefore, students get traditional clothing, mild weather, and medical insurance for the duration of their stay.
