Entry requirements
A-levels: A*AA including mathematics (minimum grade A) and either physics, electronics or further mathematics (minimum grade A). International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass with 38 points overall including 19 at Higher Level, with 6 at Higher Level in Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches) or 7 at Higher Level in Mathematics (Applications and Interpretation), and 6 at Higher Level in Physics (applicants without these subjects at Higher Level may apply for the Engineering/Physics/Mathematics Foundation Year). RQF/QCF BTEC: D in the National Extended/Subsidiary Certificate plus A*A from two A-levels including mathematics and either physics, electronics or further mathematics; or D* in the National Extended/Subsidiary Certificate plus AA from two A-levels including these subjects; we will consider the National Extended/Extended Diploma in Engineering with A-level mathematics; and will consider the National/Diploma with A-levels in mathematics and either physics, electronics or further mathematics. GCSE requirements: English language (or English) and mathematics at minimum grade 4/C.
