Overview
This course provides an overview of Mental Health and Mental Illness for anyone working in health care.
Entry requirements
Health professionals and support staff in any health care setting who wish to expand and develop their knowledge in relation to Mental Health and Illness, in an informal and relaxed setting. The course is designed to adapt to individual participants' particular learning needs. This course runs over one full day. Participants will gain a greater understanding of mental health and illness, including diagnoses, treatment, resources and communication skills. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance. This course is worth 7 hours of CPD.
