Overview
The Certificate in Mental Health Law and Practice has been designed to provide an introduction to mental health law for students whose work involves the application of statutory and common law provisions relating to the voluntary and compulsory care and treatment of individuals who are suffering from mental disorder.
Entry requirements
2026/27 Standard Entry No formal qualifications are required (the programme is suitable for applicants from a range of backgrounds and experience) but some on-going, practical experience within the mental health field is necessary as the course builds upon this experience in its assessment processes.
