Overview
Computational physics is a fundamental area of study that underpins a vast array of topics. This programme offers the opportunity to work with specialists in the field and the chance to develop strong national and international collaborations. Researchers in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences have the opportunity to advance their knowledge of computational physics, whille developing key research skills. Research in Computational Physics covers a broad spectrum, including the distinct areas of nanostructured soft matter, active matter, materials science, and molecular biophysics. Dedicated academic supervisors provide in-depth training programmes and students can benefit from the use of specialist computational facilities.
