Overview
Learn research methods and study designs in nutrition, examine links between diet and diseases, especially noncommunicable ones, and apply statistical analysis to real data to inform nutrition policy.
Entry requirements
This course is for those who are interested in various nutritional study designs and their applications in epidemiology to explore the relationship between dietary factors and health outcomes, particularly non-communicable diseases. The Thursday teaching dates are: Oct: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 October 2026 Nov: 12, 19, 26 (no teaching during reading week: 2-6 Nov 2026) Dec: 3, 10 December 2026 Session times each day: 11:00-13:00 14:00-16:00 The course is worth 30 credits and can be taken as part of MSc Applied Nutrition at City St George's.
