Overview
Observe and reflect on your own performance as a teacher in healthcare and push the boundaries of your career with the experts at Staffordshire University. This module provides an opportunity for critically reflection upon and evaluation of educational activities within the workplace. This will enable assessment of the quality of teaching through peer evaluation and personal reflection, which will be linked to educational theory and concepts. On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: Individual Modules Observation and Reflection on Healthcare Teaching 100% online distance learning. Students work through online materials in their own time. The module is practically orientated and will draw upon insights from a number of teaching interactions including a video critique. This will enable detailed evaluation of the teaching styles, personal and professional preferences/qualities that shape the delivery of learning. This will include consideration of the diversity of learner characteristics and matters of equality and inclusion.
Entry requirements
A first degree (or diploma) in a Health and Social Care subject, or extensive relevant professional experience. Active involvement in teaching/assessment is strongly recommended. IELTS score 7.
