Obstetric Ultrasound Doppler study day

This advanced session aims to build upon existing knowledge of ultrasound practitioners within obstetrics with a view to improve awareness of obstetric Doppler techniques including umbilical artery, uterine artery and middle cerebral artery Dopplers. The session will be delivered by a number of expert professionals and academics within the field of obstetrics, with an opportunity to practice the taught techniques from the day with normal pregnant volunteers. The session will include an advanced ultrasound physics masterclass, exploring the in-depth components of Doppler imaging in obstetrics, and a blend of theory, practical and reporting considerations. On completion of the study day students will receive a certificate of attendance. We believe that real-world experience is an essential part of academic success.
