Overview
This Postgraduate Certificate combines two complementary areas: global and local health inequality, and the relationship between healthcare systems, sustainability and planetary health. Students critically explore how social, political, economic and environmental determinants shape health outcomes, and develop evidence-informed strategies to reduce inequities in practice. Alongside this, they examine the environmental impact of healthcare, low-carbon approaches to care delivery, and leadership for sustainable transformation across health systems. It is ideal for nurses who want to strengthen advocacy, lead service improvement and contribute to more equitable, resilient and sustainable models of care.
